The Hindu, India

The Hindu, which began 132 years ago as a weekly Indian paper became a daily newspaper 11 years later and today has a readership of over 4 million. It's non partisan and objective reporting stance has earned it credibility and respect both in India and abroad.

Still, it's not just about serious news and current affairs, there's fun stuff too... The Hindu is the only paper that offers it's readers supplements and features 7 days a week, which often come as a welcome respite from the harsh reality and worrying headlines that news often is today.

On a recent trip to Mumbai I did a bit of writing that later found it's way into their lifestyle pages earlier this year...here they are:

Hello! Style for You

One of the most fun aspects of interning at LynkU, was getting to start my day on Rex Features and delighting myself with a walk through the fashion wonderland of Outnet, Net-a-porter and LynkU.

Here's the outcome of that, better known as Hello Style for You...

On Fashion for Lunch.com

Fashion for Lunch is LynkU.com's fashion blog, started by their Fashion Editor Dana Karlson who moved to the city from New York, bringing her fashion flair and chic writing style with her.

Writing fashion features and assembling collages - yes, that's where my love affair with Photoshop began - for the blog gave me the chance to stetch my interest in fashion beyond my footwear fetish and flipping through fashion glossies...

Ring in the New Year
Reach for the stars
Touch me not frost
Winter in wellies
Design you own shoes over lunch
Frills needn't wait until Christmas

On The Travel Editor.com

The Travel Editor.com is a travelishly foodishly fun website - as I like to describe it - aimed at the cash rich time starved 30+ travellers who want to have great travel, holiday and meal experiences but often don't have the time to plan or scout out the best match for their interests.

I am an author for the site and the destinations I have covered so far include:

The Maldives

Vancouver
India- Restaurants, Bars and a vineyard in Maharashtra
